About the Teacher
In a long teaching career that began in the 1960's, Mr. Goodhart has taught biology, chemistry, physics, algebra, advanced algebra, geometry, anthropology, marine biology, ecology, genetics, English, Shakespeare, A.P. Biology and A. P. English and enjoyed them all!
Over the years, in addition to teaching high school classes and at 3 colleges, he has been a research biochemist at Dow Chemical, a free-lance wildlife photographer, a consultant to the governments of Australia and Rwanda on wildlife tourism, a consultant to the College Board Advanced Placement Program, and the owner of Adventures International - one of the first ecotourism companies.
Teaching at Geyserville is his ideal job at this point in his life, although he continues to lead safaris to Tanzania, Madagascar, Kenya, Rwanda and the Congo as well as acting as a trustee for the African Orphans Foundation.
