Social Studies: 30 Credits Grades 10-12
Freshman Requirements: 10 Credits Grade 9
Science: 20 Credits Physical Science/Life Science
Mathematics: 20 Credits (Students must pass Algebra 1 to receive a
diploma.)
Fine Arts: 10 Credits Foreign Language, Art, Graphic Design, Drama,
Ceramics
Physical Education: 20 Credits
Elective Courses: 90 Credits

California High School Exit Exam
In order to receive a high school diploma, students in California will have to pass this exam. The test will be given at least twice a year, giving the student ample time to pass. Students who are not fluent in English will have to pass the test in English before receiving a diploma. Special education students cannot receive their high school diploma without passing the CAHSEE, however, special accommodations can be written into the students IEP. If a student is not eligible for a high school diploma, a Certificate of Completion will be issued.
Community Service Guidelines
All students are required to complete 40 hours of community service (10 per year) in order to receive a diploma. Transferring student's requirement will be based upon 10 hours per year of Geyserville attendance.
