Well here we are once again, at the end of our school year! Thank you to those of you who joined us for Open House last week- we had an excellent turnout and our students were so proud to show off their hard work! We also honored our Most Improved Students, students who have been Reclassified as Fluent in English, Boys and Girls Club’s Youth of the Year, and exceptional parent volunteers!
This has been a wonderful year, full of accomplishments at GES!! We have made significant improvements to strive towards our school vision. Here are just some of our successes that stand out:
GES would not be a Distinguished School without our parent volunteers.
Please consider getting involved next year, if you haven’t in the past. Even volunteering ONE time makes a difference for our school community!
Many of you are wondering about the change in leadership here at GES next year. The district is in the process of hiring a new principal and will conduct interviews in early June. When the process is finalized, the district will communicate with you.
Our staff is very excited to improve our Science program in 2019-20 and will be receiving training on the NGSS (New Generation Science Standards) as well as piloting two 21st Century, hands-on Science Programs next year.
Important Dates (updated):
Our teachers will be completing report cards next week. You should receive them in the mail during the week of June 10th. I would like to acknowledge our teachers and staff on their incredible energy and commitment throughout this entire school year.
This summer, please encourage your children to read, exercise, explore their interests, be creative and enjoy the outdoors. Take trips to the library, parks, river, museums, or whatever learning experiences you can think of! Have conversations that build communication skills and relationships, work together to accomplish goals, and ask your children questions that require them to think critically. Best of luck to our 5th graders who are off to middle school! As I said before, Geyserville will always have a special place in my heart. I will miss our students and community very much and wish you all the best. Have a fantastic summer!!!
Enjoy these photos of the production of our first play, The Wizard of OZ. Thank you to everyone involved!

If any portion of this website remains inaccessible to you, please notify our District Administrative Assistant, Shannon Marckx, at email@example.com or by calling (707) 857-3592, Extension 103.
