From Principal Nyla Quintana-Sturgis
It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter to you as your newly appointed principal of Geyserville Elementary! My name is Nyla Quintana and I am truly thrilled at the opportunity to get to know all of you and engage in the educational process together.
I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than seventeen years. I am passionate about building strong partnerships with families and advocating for our students. I have extensive experience working with english language learners and have worked with a variety of grade levels ranging from TK- through 6th grade. I also have administrative experience as Academic Dean and Summer School Principal in the Roseland District. I am excited and eager to share my skills as an educational leader with GES and work as partners with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure your child's growth and success. I look forward to building lasting relationships with each and every member of the Geyserville community. Please introduce yourself in the days and weeks ahead.
From mowing to cleaning the campus, to prepping and planning lessons our dedicated GES staff have been working hard to ensure a successful start of the school year. Our first day of instruction is Wednesday, August 14, 2019. Just a reminder that school begins at 8:05.
We look forward to seeing all of you in a few weeks. If you have any questions related to school policy, procedures, or schedules, please feel free to call the office 857-3592.

"We are continually in process of updating all sections of the Geyserville Unified School District website. We have a team working on making the site well-designed and accessible for all users. This is a large project, even for a smaller-sized district like ours. We appreciate your patience as we continue to improve and update the site on a daily basis. If any portion of this website remains inaccessible to you, please notify our District Administrative Assistant, Shannon Marckx, at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (707) 857-3592, Extension 103. We look forward to meeting your expectations and needs, under the guidance and parameters of current, applicable laws, codes and regulations."
