Walk and Roll to School Day will be on October 4th! We will have 2 locations for groups to meet and walk together to school at 7:30 that morning. We invite parents to join as well. Please meet at Schoolhouse Lane or at the Park & Ride across from AJ's and join in this community event! Prizes will be given to students who participate!
The construction of our Multi-Purpose Room is really close to being finished! We are hoping to use it by the first week of October. Thank you to our students for their patience and flexibility with our school lunch menu. We will begin Zumba in October when the space is ready!
The social-emotional program TOOLBOX is going very well this year. The intention of this program is to give “children, teachers, parents, and schools a common language and the Tools necessary to form a cohesive, collaborative, non-violent, and caring community which leads to hope for a meaningful and positive future.” We know many of you are wondering how to support your children at home with this. We intend to have a TOOLBOX Parent Workshop this fall... please stay posted for details.
Our Student Leadership group is gearing up for a great school year. 4th and 5th graders who want to participate have turned in applications to show why they will qualify as strong leaders and role models here on campus. 5th graders who want to run for an officer position will prepare and give speeches to all students, followed with a vote by our student population. You are welcome to come to the assembly!
